Hello doctor...my 81 days old son is having loose motion, yesterday he passed stool 4 times ..very thin. Also not taking feed properly. What can be done?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probioytic can be given like entterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
