Hello doctor,may I know which medicine is good for constipation in babies..my 4 n half month old son has constipation and troubled in passing the motions..he is on formula feed...

A. do not use medicines below 6 months for constipation There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age
