hello doctor, I was given nipple shield from the hospital to feed my baby, while feeding through shield the size of nipple enlarges but normally it doesn't and my baby is now 10 days old but still not able to grab the nipple for more than 2 sec. what to do

If still your baby is suffering in lactating the nipples then in such case you should definitely continue using nipple shields it is the best way to feed baby when mothers can’t feed directly. And it is totally see if you just have to clean the nipple shield every time before feeding
