Q.

hello doctor I have a 26 months old boy and he has a undescented testicle on his left side and our pediatrician suggested to consult with a pediatric urologist, when we consulted he said laproscopy should be done for a non palable testis....here my doubt is can the surgery done by any urologist or it should be done by only pediatric urologist. kindly respond

A. many times they are compatible. but my personal opinion would be to go for treatment with pediatric surgeon who has got more experience in such cases More proper information and answer regarding this will be given by your personal doctor and you can contact your doctor for this You can check with nearest doctor also in your locality. Take care.
