hello doctor, I got covid it is 10 day now, I almost recovered, but I am on medication of fabiflu and steroids. is it okay to breastfeed my 5 month baby, will these medications effect baby in anyway?

A. Hello mom If you are on antibiotics and steroids then you should definitely avoid feeding your baby. In such case the best alternative of mother’s milk is formula milk. Once you stop taking medication then you can again start breastfeeding but till the time avoid breastfeeding your baby.
