Hello doctor, How to identify, my breastfeeding is enough for my son or not. he is 2months old and not sleeping properly. he is sleeping max of 8-10hrs per day. please suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should j not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.

A Child should gain a minimum of 3 to 400 g every month if your child is gaining minimum 300 g hundred grams also that means your child is getting sufficient and also the child is getting sufficient breastfeeding from you Sleep is really very less you should consult your doctor ones
