Hello Doctor, Good evening my baby girl is 5 weeks old she is having nasal congestion and sneezing alot but today we went to pediatrician they prescribed nasal spray and mucolite drops after using that coughing as started she is coughing alot plz suggest

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. they are appropriate for the baby to use cold and cough most of the times because of viral infection sometimes even allergies please give steam inhalation frequently to liquefied the secretions and saline nasal drops in nose of the baby

give steam inhalation
use Nasoclear saline nasal drops
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest and back and feet and gently massage at bed time
use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
