Q.

he is having fever since two days . The body temperature goes down to normal whenever a paracetamol suspension is administered. But the fever recur as soon as the effect of the medicine is over. Feeding too is too less.,taking some juice only. kindly advise.

A. continue with medication till 5 days.. If not improvement and accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or breathlessness or dullness, poor intake consult your paediatrician asap. tc.

A. hi dear Do not give paracetamol to babies younger than 2 months old, unless it is prescribed by a doctor. Check with your doctor or pharmacist before giving your child paracetamol if they: are small for their age, as a lower dose may be better.
