Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. at this age if there is disturbance and sleep it might be due to some type of physical disturbance or due to environmental disturbance.
you have to rule out teething pain which might be causing discomfort. see for any gastric problem like gas or digestion problem (constipation/ diarrhoea) due to the food the child might be consuming which might be causing discomfort. you can give feed to the child because sometimes due to hunger the child might not be able to sleep
environmental disturbance like temperature variations which might be either hot or cold weather. change in pillow or mattress. changing place of sleeping can also disturb the sleep
if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool.
the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times perd day and sometimes the child will not pass stool for few days also.
also do no worry about colour and smell of the stool when stool consistency is semisolid to solid.
you have tod meet the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. White noise is a key tool in the Happiest Baby sleep approach. It helps turn on your baby's calming reflex, or their built-in “reset button” to calm crying and bring on sleep. The best sound for calming fussing is a rough, slightly harsh noise that's as loud as your little one's crying.
