Good morning doctor My baby is 2 year and 2 months old . He has cough, sometimes he sneezes as well. Kindly suggest.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicinesc like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used f in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

give Luke warm water to drink
give mixture of honey and few drops of lemon juice in one tsp quantity twice in a day.
you can use Babyhug rapid relief rub also.
