Giving milk at night time for 3 years old boy is correct or not ..please suggest

Before sleeping if you’re giving milk to the child it is completely alright but you have to feed your child in the middle of the night then that is not correct because in this age kids should sleep at a stretch for at least 8 to 9 hours like sleep in the night and wake up straight in the morning
