Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal
very less likely that it is standard constipation
shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello mom
When babies are totally on mother’s milk they don’t pass stool for many days. Sometimes babies don’t pass stool for more than seven days and it is also considered normal. This is because babies are totally on mother’s milk and there is very less waste left in their stomach to poop out
Happy parenting
