Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. know about this as for Baby on touch can be warm to feel at forehead sole or stomach area and it's normal for the healthy baby. Fever is an immune response and is a sign of inflammation . If armpit temperature is above 99 Fahrenheit then it s fever and needs medicines .

you can give calpol drops.
please keep your child well hydrated
breastfeed your child as per his or her needs,it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial infection
dress your child in loose fitting Cotton clothes
keep your child in well vantileted room
if there is no cold and cough, give sponge bath to reduce the temperature.
maintain good hygiene
