ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician3 years agoA. Green poop is common in formula fed babies
If baby is peeing 8-9times a day, stools are not very watery do not worry.
Green stool can be due to foremilk hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies
feed longer on one breast so that baby gets hindmilk which is rich in fat
If giving bottle Maintain hygiene
if stool frequency increases or consistency is very watery consult Paediatrician

Hello, Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
