Q.
Even after 2 months of delivery my nipples hurt every time I breastfeed and it doesn’t heal after using nipcare( Modified lanolin).. there are no cuts but it’s reddish and hurts very badly..is it normal! please suggest what can be done..

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. then u learn how to latch ok. Well, this looks ok but avoid self medication. try giving proper diet n don't miss on dose in this. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you

If The pain is still there then you should consult your lactation doctor ones maybe they will advise you with a better medicine because for this long of the pain is not supposed to be. There were you are saying there is no cracks and nothing so better get a check with your doctor
