Q.

DTwP and IPV vaccine for new born it has to be given after completion of 6weeks or when the baby enters it's 6week of age?? my baby DOB is 31st Oct what will be the date of vaccination???

A. no problem you can take once baby is more than 6 weeks are 45 days no problem taking few days afterwards also. the very purpose of giving vaccine to the baby is to have proper immunity please take all optional and essential vaccine to the baby if you have already missed any one of them

Q. MY SON AGE IS 16M PLUS ,IN PRIMARY VACCINE SHCEDULE OF 6 10 14 WEEKS HE WAS GIVEN DTWP FROM GOVT. ONLY IN THE 10 WEEK VACCINE HE WAS HAVING FEVER CRANKY IRRITATION SWELLING AT VACCINE SITE WHICH CONTINUED FOR AROUND 6DAYS BUT IN 6 ND 14 IT WAS NOT SO RELEVENT ALMOST NORMAL. NOW IN BOOSTER OF 16M and ALSO DURING 4-5YR SHOULD HE BE GIVEN THE SAME DTWP +HIB+IPV OR CAN BE GIVEN DTAP+HIB+IPV. WHICH ONE IS RECOMMENDED AND ALSO HAS STRONG IMMUNITY WITH LESS SIDE EFFECT. KINDLY GUIDE IN BRIEF.
