POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. An umbilical hernia may not need any treatment. If it does, surgery can repair it. Most of the time — in more than 90% of cases — umbilical hernias heal on their own by the time a child is three or four years old.
