Does babies ear wax smell

you have to clean the ears of the child only externally with cotton cloth.
do not use anything like earbuds to clean the internal ear.
this will only do more harm as wax will get impacted inside deep and will cause more problem.
if you feel that the child is havingf some problems in the internal ear then kindly meet your doctor for examination.
if the childc is having wax problem and not improving with drops you have to get it removed witfh the help of your ent doctor.

it could be ear Infection
so better to check with your pediatrician
please don't try any homemade remedies
don't place ,push , stick or pour anything inside your child ears
