Q.
Doctor prescribed to give 2.5ml 3 times a day of Orofer XT 30 Mg Syrup but now Orofer XT is not available and Orofer XT plus is available which has some additional composition. Please let me know if we can give XT plus. Also need to know if the 2.5 ml is correct... my son is 1 year 5 months old and weighs 10.5 kgs.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 14 months old and if his Hb is very low then you can give him orofer xt plus only 2.5 ml twice a day upto Hb raises upto 13/14 gms

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. if the baby is having hemoglobin less depending on the need your doctor will be prescribing the dosage proper medicine and the duration also you may consult the doctor has prescribed the medicine for you
