Doctor has prescribed cough syrup for my kid which is to be given after good. As he vomits after taking the medicine can I give the medicine just before taking food

A. Hi mom no u cannot give medicine before food if prescribed after food. if the kid vomits the medicine then do not give immediately after the food. wait for half an hour or so and then give.
