you cannot give antibiotics without medical consultation.
also if it's viral infection or an allergy then there is no role of antibiotics.
all infection and illness doe not require antibiotics.
also dosage is given as per infection and type of disease. meet your dr for proper advice. 
the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carrided out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.
