Q.

Can we add salt or sugar to 6 months old"a new feeding diet? can we give them water, if yes then how much qty? can someone please share diet chart for kids from 6 to 12 months! Thanks

A. no, don't add.. salt n sugar till 1 year. Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed. Follow three day rule. Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) . Moong Daal water, rice kangi. Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

A. yes you can start giving water now , only few drops are sufficient for baby as their stomach is very tiny now so few drops will sufficient, and avoid salt and sugar till one year of age as both of these are not recommended by experts because these can be harmful in baby's organ growth.
