can teething cause fever? My 8 month old daughter having fever from last 5 days because of teething?

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours aghtain if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefegnamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
