can I give poha to 6 month baby is it healthy and can I add dates now. what iron rich food can I give

A. yes, you can make poha porridge to feed your 6 month old. don't give dates now, introduce dates after 8 month Follow three day rule. Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) . Moong Daal water, rice kangi. Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

A. Yes It can be given from the very beginning itself but poha should not be given at this age your child would not be able to swallow it it’s a dry food introduce it after the age of 12 months not now and for iron rich foods you can go for spinach beetroot pomegranate and broccoli for all the things are very rich in iron
