Dear mum if you meant by lactogen formula powder yes you can give it to your child and there is no harm in introducing formula milk to your 5 month baby you can alternatively give mothers milk as well as the formula milk initially and then you can gradually ship to formula milk in case you are not able to provide mothers milk
