WHO recommends Breastfeeding till minimum two years and beyond The longer you breastfeed the better for you and your baby physically emotionally and financially. Weaning off now will not guarantee that baby eats better or sleeps through the night. if you still want to wean then please drop one feed at a time and follow Jay Gordon's gentle weaning methods please. Else you will also be in pain

RitujaMom of a 16 yr 10 m old boy6 years agoA. Gradual weaning off itself stops lactation. I would suggest not to take any medication for it. Still you may consult your doctor before taking any medication.
