baby's direct suckling reflex sends signal fo milk production..
so breastpump can be used only when you feel breast heavy inspite of feeding

if possible please prefer to offer direct feeding as it provides comfort and security too.
please try different feeding position.
make skin to skin Contact while feeding your child it will help to encourage your child to take more feeds.
keep the environment calm and dark while feeding
avoid distractions
