baby is having temperature 101.5f and cold , since two days fever, baby is dull when fever increases. doctor prescribed amoxycillin oral suspension 100 MG, fepanil drop , and omnacortil drops, question is omancortil is stiriod no idea why doctor prescribed this medicine, thank you in advance

A. These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature . You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water. do not give steroid without physical consultation
