baby girl 2yr 2 mnth old... her body temp is 99.5 is it a fever ??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if the child is having fever you can give paracetamol to the child and temperature above 99 should be taken as fever and you should give paracetamol in a proper dose along with that cold sponging can be done

Yes It is just mild fever you can give paracetamol to your child right now and you can repeat it after six hours only if it is needed 99.5 is really a very mild fever so you can just give this medicine right now and if the fever increases then you can consult your paediatrician ones
