#Askthexperts Hi doc. I'm mother of 5 month old. I have throat infection. if I take antibiotic, will it go to the baby while breastfeeding?

A. yes definitely.Best will be to consult a doctor there as well who can practically see the patient and help to get a diagnosisTry to not miss on any medicine or its dose and take up lots of water and fluids on daily basis .

A. hi dear mom..please ask for breast feeding friendly medicine from your doctor.. there are chances of medicine passing through your milk.nthat why it is advisable to take breast feeding friendly medicine..happy parenting
