Dear parent, as your child is 6 months old, you can start giving him/her semi-solid items like porridge (daliya), mashed potatoes, mashed banana, boiled apple, suji/rava/semolina ka hlawa, kheer, homemade cerelac, boiled veggies, fruit purees. Once he/she is comfortable, you can add plain chappati, daal ka paani in the diet, even plain water (2-3 tbspn)

Once your baby completes 6 months you can start giving semi solids like homemade cerelac, ragi, daal or chaaval paani, mashed fruits and vegetables. Continue breastfeeding. Consult your child’s doctor for advice. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
