#asktheexperts today I am detected as COVID positive...I hv two small daughter... my 8 years old daughter hv al fever...what can I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. You have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
It can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
Weather higher medicines like ibugesic for meftal p is required or not will be told by the doctor.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen cloothes when the child is having fever
Important to avoid them if possible.
Do body sponge to decrease the body temperature and give plenty of fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration.
