#asktheexperts sir my daughter is 5 months old. she is suffering from light caugh. can u pls suggest medicine

A. nasal saline drops evey 3hrly This can occur due to weather changes or simple cold and some times infection. kindly give nasal saline drops every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough. Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

A. Hi mom If light cough then no need to give medicine. Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough. Take care
