#asktheexperts sir my baby is 45 days old and after BCG injection she suffered from fever .I gave her paracitamol 6 drops but after 3 hours see again suffering from fever .pls suggest can I gave paracitamol her after hours.

when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
