#asktheexperts sir ,is that a problem my 16 month old prefers gestures and sounds to communicate rather than spoken words and when he does its jargon and he clearly says only 2 or 3 words which includes calling' ma'.

If ur baby is making eye contact and understand what you are saying, follow ur instructions then no need to worry. Some babies they start to talk late. Take care and good luck
