#asktheexperts sir 3months back I have given albendazole syrup for my son and now I think he is having worms can I give him albendazole again now

Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated evergy six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this mfedicine only after taking guidance by your doctor

It cannot be repeated before completing the time of six months to the prior dosage so right now if you’re facing the problem you can ask your doctor if there’s anything else they can advise you with the medicine should not be repeated before completing the time of six months
