#asktheexperts My son is 3 years old. he has a constipation issue. He always starts crying whenever he feels the pressure. so, wanted to know whether it is good to give him any medicine? if yes, then please suggest medicine. (I give fiber rich food along with a sufficient amount of fluids since he is having a constipation issue)

A. muout powder after medical consultation. Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Changes in diet has to be made Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasing constipation. Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool.
