Q.

#asktheexperts my son' in 7 and half now his earlier doctor had advised now to touch foreskin and it will seperate on its own pulling it wrongly can cause more damage.But as it has not seperated yet we discussed this with his current doctor and he says we had to pull it and we can start doing it from now on and it may seperate slowly. please guide as to what is the correct process that should be followed when it comes to foreskin seperation. thankyou in advance.

A. A tight foreskin is normal in babies and young boys. Most boys' foreskins do not pull back (retract) before the age of 5, but sometimes it's not possible until they're 10 or older.
