My son if having cold and fever. I have given him Acetaminophen pediatric oral suspension ip (5ml) by 7 o clock, but fever is not reduced. again I have given him by 11.30 . but still he is having temperature in his forehead ,backside and armpits of hand. can i give him 1/2 paracetamol of 300 mg now.

Hello, your baby boy is 20 months old and he is having a body temperature if more than 100 degrees then only you should give paracetamol 3 ml three times a day

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and  if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion  it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold 
In  viral illness there can be cough and fever which xd needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
