it is teh cikd .For common cold home remedies like giving steam to baby works very well and of fever is there then give paracetamol for same . Other remedy includes nasovion nasal drop for blocked nose and ascoril ls for cough .

Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day. 
This may due to exither allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
If fever is present give paracetamol.
