#asktheexperts my nipples are infected by fungal infection due to there are deep cuts on my nipples and shown to many docs and taken medications but no improvement plz suggest me what to do iam in so much of pain unable to feed my baby.

A. dear mum , for the nipple cut apply breastmilk to the cut it has great healing property , wear loose comfortable cotton clothes do not wear bra until it heal

A. apply breast milk on sore nipple... and 1 st feed baby from non sore nipple....try to latch properly it will heal

A. Apply nipple butter cream to reduce the irritation

A. Apply Nipcare cream on affected area 2-3 times daily.

A. The fungal infection has healed and only cuts are there I’m going to advise you to start applying antiseptic cream regularly and every 3 to 4 hours and if you have a possibility to avoid wearing and you go ahead with that and if needed you can consult a gynaecologist or a skin specialist once
