#asktheexperts My four month old baby pooping green stools immediately after feeding from last 3 days & am exclusively breastfeeding to baby,,,,is this is Normal

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes it is normal if the stool is soft, n semi. solid. If green watery stool with foul smelling passes for multiple time watery in nature than do check with your Paedritician.

Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
