#asktheexperts My daughter is 2 months old . We have been applying Salt on her belly button umbilical cord infection since almost a month. Today we saw a tiny hole in the belly button infection ( pic attached ) Is the a matter of concern . Pls help

A. no any pic attached.. Please consult your paediatrician for same Details of clinical examination and associated symptoms are required, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

Mam I cannot see any picture but I do not know who has advised you to apply salt into the naval of the child as far as I know Dr do not advised to do all these things and since you’re saying that you can see in infection building up I suggest you stop doing the thing please consult your doctor ASAP forWrite Your Answer Here
