Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter is 18 month old. she is not walking and standing with/without support. I am keeping her standing with support for a few minutes and helping her in walking with support but she cries continuously, and when I divert her then she happily contributes in walking and standing with support. should I continue this approach ? can this help her in walking without support?

A. That’s very good that you are doing but you’re the problem is that by this age on the higher side like 18 months we expect a child to learn to walk independently the child has missed the milestone despite of all your efforts what you’re doing are fabulous but child should have started walking by now it’s good that you take a proper physical checkup with your doctor on this issue
