Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter is 16 days old. She urinates only 4–6 times a day, and that too mostly after formula feeding. I am breastfeeding her on demand, but since my milk supply is low, she doesn’t seem full and cries, so I give her formula three times a day. She urinates mainly after the formula feeds.

A. Hello! As long as your baby is healthy and active, accepting feeds, gradually gaining weight there shouldn’t be any problems. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration, and weight gain.
