Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter has been having loose stools for 2-3 months once or twice a day. The doctor prescribed her antibiotics without any stool test. She had this kind of stool 1 year back and the doctor prescribed her antibiotic which didn't work for her. Then he wrote for a stool test and gave another medicine which was suitable. Should I give the medicine to her without the test or should I just trust the doctor?

A. Hello my dear parent! If you have any concerns about the medication prescribed for the child, then it is better to take a second opinion. Considering the previous history of sickness and the present situation, the new doctor might advise you correctly.
