#asktheexperts My baby will soon be 6 months and wanted to know what solids best to introduce with. Also, silicone based feeders are safe? Lastly, can we make him sit on a high chair to feed right after he turns 6 months?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give semi solid food items like banana and mashed potatoes and mashed apples to the baby. You can give homemade cerelac and vegetables puree to the baby. Also give suji kheer and daal paani to the baby. Start giving formula milk to the baby. You can also give mashed idli to the baby. Yes you can use BPA free silicon feeding bottle like BabyHug for the baby. It is too soon to put the baby in high chair as the baby might loose balance.
