Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. for gastric problem you can give collimax/flatuna drops to your baby.proper burping for about 20mins to half an hour on the shoulder and tummy time after every feed helps a lot.cyclic motion of legs also relieves gases . gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the digestive system. as well as usually in babies of 1 to 3 months of age it is a very common finding to spit the milk after feed which is called as posseting.it can be reduced by giving a proper burping after every feed. please see that you are not over feeding the child also .if it is very frequent you can give domstal drops also occasionally but only under medical guidance.Crying of a Baby is mostly and commonly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by giving medicines like collicaid /gastica drops.
other reasons could be nose blockage, pain in the ear or any other part of the body, diaper rash and may be more other reasons which needs to be ruled out .
babies may also cry due to hunger or feeling sleepy, emotional fear and seperation anxiety with parents ,just for stubborn ness for a wish or due to uncomfortable temperature and clothes ,so accordingly may be judged.
if the crying behaviour doesnot resolve in time you should visit doctor for proper guidance.
