#asktheexperts my baby is not yet walking after completion of 1 year is it okay?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even lfonger but in no case any Walker should be avoided ads it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom..it's okay..incase baby is atleast trying to stand..if abby is not able to stand also please consult your paediatrician for proper diagnosis and treatment . till then give good massage on his legs every day. you can use Babyhug massage oil for same
