#asktheexperts my baby is hard stool from past 3 days, what would be the reason?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. at this age the child should pass stool regularly.
if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined foody
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Dehydration could be one reason where the child does not have sufficient amount of water the proof sometimes gets really very hard and that could probably be one of the biggest reasons that your child is passing motion as of now
